Petite sizing isn’t just for short people! Yet that is how it is explained and how salespeople understand it 😣 I’m 5’6” and need petite tops due to my short torso, short arms and narrow back. Do you have a full video on this topic?

I'm 5'4 which seems to be the cutoff between petite and regular sizing. I can go either way so it makes it difficult to buy clothes especially jeans/pants! 😬

Im 4'10 and petite STILL doesnt fit me 😮‍💨 i have to shop kids section size xl 14/16 and thats IF i find anything that doesnt look too childish. The skirts from the kids section fit me perfect. Otherwise i have to get EVERYTHING tailored. Im really short and i love it ❤. Im glad i found your channel!

I'm 5'6" (lost an inch in the last 20 years), but petite jackets, tops, and dresses fit my proportions much better at my current size. They add length to garments as sizes increase - necklines too low, breast darts too low, too much fabric under my armpits, and then length. If I can get a medium, it's not much of an issue, but I typically float between medium and large. Large Petite or 12/14 Petite seems to be the best fit. On the flip side, I regularly have to get long pants...my inseam is 33.5" barefooted. Those are not easy to find either unless you want to shell out some cash.

5’2” here. I have to get petite tops but regular pants because I have longer legs but short torso. I appreciate your videos for style inspiration.

I went to buy jeans the other day and the petite size was for people under 170cm (5ft7)!
I am 162cm (5ft4) which is average height in Aus too, so I didn't think I would be petite as there are literally 50% females smaller than me!

I am 5' and this is why I still need a good 3"-4" taken off petite pants. Several brands list 30" as a petite length! Sorry, that's not petite. It's so frustrating. Especially since lots of brands are doing away with petite sizing altogether. Add in to it that I'm a 14P, which is super rare to find, and it's no wonder I'll be wearing just a bathrobe next, lol

I think it also depends how you’re built. I’m 5’2-5’3 and petite jeans are too short on me. Longer legs and no torso here 😂

I’m 5’3 but most petite clothes don’t fit me. I have better luck with petite dresses but petite pants are usually too short.

And somehow still taller women can’t find jeans either! No one wins and Im genuinely not sure how the fashion industry has accomplished such a feat

I have just discovered that at almost 40, I am a "large" petite. Everything about me is on the bigger side, except my height. Im 5'1 and 140. The dresses and jackets usually fit me, which is great cause if I order a medium, everything is too long. My struggles with clothes have been on going.

I realized I was wrong about my height. I measured myself like 3 time in row and had my husband measure me and I am 5'3 and not 5'6 as I had been told. And now things make sense. I am an amateur sewer and have had to take in or shorten so many of my clothes. I just thought I bought the wrong size online. Now I know I have to accommodate for petite and narrowness.😅

I work in a popular women’s store and our petite section has 1/10th of what the Missy section has. Also I’m 5 ft 4.5 in and the petite clothes fit me better except they are all too short. Uggh
It makes me feel like I’m the one who there is something wrong with 😂

Women 5'4 and shorter are very attractive! 💖

I’m supposed to be a petite but petite sizes usually don’t work for me
I just buy from the normal sizes
I also tend to stick to either tucking in my tops or wearing crop tops

I’m 5’0. I got my period when I was 9 years old and yeah didn’t grow that much in my teen years I was 153 by 15 years and didn’t grow after that. However, I had 34B cup as teenager, and a pretty big bum. I got pregnant at 19 and had my son who was born 57cm long. However I couldn’t breast feed him because I had underdeveloped breasts. However now that I’m 29 I’m still 5’0 but I grew 2 cups in breast which is weird because not even while I was trying my god damn best breastfeeding they grew.

So petite means short but I have size 5 jeans, and I’m 36B and I weight 118lbs.

But I like being tiny. Everyone picks you up or gets things for you at the grocery store. You can snuggled in tiny spaces. It is great for snuggles.

For clothing I must try because in most brands I’m always between an S or M. I like trying out the clothes because sometimes they are loose.

So always make sure you read the sizes table because now every brand seem to have their own measurements but I always go with M just to be safe.
