Easy Vegan Ice Cream Recipe (No Machine Dessert)

Показать описание
Today we are making this easy vegan ice cream! This dessert recipe requires no machine and it's super easy to make. The ice cream tastes delicious. We are also making sweet caramelized plantains to go with our ice cream. The combination is absolutely amazing! And best of all, dairy free!
Friends pls follow the recipe down below as there is a correction I need to make in regards to the recipe:
For the vanilla bean ice cream
2 400 ml coconut milk cans (only the cream not the water)
*in the video I use 3 cans but that was a mistake as a result my ice cream was grainy. Pls use just 2 cans!!
1/4 cup agave nectar
1/4 cup raw white cane sugar
1 pinch sea salt
1 vanilla bean pod
2 tsp pure vanilla extract
To your blender add only the cream of 2 coconut milk cans. Im using Biona organic coconut milk that has 50% coconut and 50% water. Then add the rest of the ingredients and blend it up for a good 3 minutes until the sugar has dissolved and all ingredients are well combined.
Poor into a freezer safe container and cover with lid. Place in freezer. It should take a few hours to firm up but just remember that you need to remove it from the freezer at least twice while it is firming up and give it a good whisk to incorporate air into the ice cream. Do it once every hour for the first 2 hours then let it firm up. once firm remove it from freezer and let it thaw out as much as you need in order to be able to scoop it. enjoy!!!!
For the plantains:
Ingredients:
1 plantain
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Pinch of sea salt
1 tbsp raw cane sugar or palm sugar
1 tsp oil preferably coconut oil
Drizzle of agave syrup
*if you are using more than one plantain go ahead and add more of these ingredients to give it more flavor.
Peel and cut your ripe plantain in slices and place in a bowl along with all the other ingredients. Mix and place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Add some extra syrup on top if you wish. Bake at 180 degrees celsius for 20 min. After 10 min flip them over and let bake another 10 min.
*make sure your plantains Are very ripe. They should be black and yellow in color.
If they are ripe you don’t necessarily have to add sugar and bake them as you can steam them or fry them in butter without sugar and they are delicious.
