TOP 15 MONSTERS || Norway´s Roughest HillClimb 2024 (NEW RECORD!!)

Norges Raeste Bakkelop, which can be translated as Norway´s Roughest HillClimb, is a spectacular hillclimb racing event held in the northern side of Norway at Malselv, featuring always a spectacular entrylist and now for the first time we are able to make a Top 15 Monsters of it, presenting a huge number of new Monsters from a new zone ( from 1000Hp BMW Turbo units, to a 1.0L Corolla, Lancer Evo in very different guises, Rallycross units and Time Attack beasts) and straight away featuring a new All Time Record from what will become one of the definitive Monsters of the Sport in our opinion... For me its one of the best videos ever. Generally every Hillclimb racer is special but the diversity of the norwegians is mind breaking... a Corolla with 1fz? C4 with 5 Cylinder? M5 Turbo V8, 190 Turbo V8... Seems like they dont think about of is it possible or not... amazing.

1:39 And this is why I love hillclimbs and all other disciplines that still allow custom cars: these events reflect the regional car culture so much. Only in Northern Europe would you find something like this, just like only the U.S. would go to the effort to build something like the Old Smokey diesel pickup. You can learn so much about the regional car culture by just seeing what the local racers build.

Cars like these are a joy to behold because of their uniqueness. A sport still ruled by car enthusiasts is a beautiful thing. Long may that continue.
