My brother in law had a crow for years. He found the bird in his yard, it was hurt, so he took care of it. When it was able to fly away, it would come back and peck it the window. It would go for a day or two always coming back. Eventually it stayed and wouldn't fly off. Guess it loved the free food. It would bounce to the music and sit on his shoulder. Very smart bird.

That is a raven. They have curved beaks. Crows have straight beaks, and both are very smart birds. I have raised baby crows that fell out of the nests, and I would do it a thousand times. They would continue to visit us, and one would play with the kids and eat with our dogs and actually would bark. Our last one Inky decided that he would rather stay with us and we never caged him. He stayed inside at night to sleep and would walk down the hall in the morning to let us know time to get up and feed him. He was wonderful. It was sad when he finally passed. They say just let them die if they fall from the nest, but that isn't me. I even raised tiny sparrows that fell with barely any feathers and helped them to grow and fly away, and they also would come back to visit.
