Imagine someone bothering to make you decaf coffee, apart from his own coffee, every day, even though you're not gonna drink it....that's love

I rescued a crow with a broken wing and dislocated leg, we named her Sheryl. We kept her safe in our backyard for over a month while she healed. Her family (a family of crows is actually called a ‘murder’) visited her everyday. They would bring gifts, food, talk and just come check on her. One day she just flew away. It was such a sweet experience. After that, we still had crows come visit us and leave random trinkets in our backyard. Gifts? We’re not sure but we enjoyed it. Crows have the intelligence of young children and actually have names, or specific sounds they make for the members of their family. Really neat birds despite the bad rep they get.

Crows are very family oriented, one of their numerous terrific traits!

I love crows, they’re so sweet and extremely smart. They’re misunderstood creatures.

The bird’s desire to socialize and interact is remarkable.

The fact he fell asleep on him shows the level of trust and the unbreakable bond they have built. Simply beautiful

It even has a human level understanding of coffee. Cafes aren't about the bean water, it's about hanging out while having expensive bean water in front of you.

There’s a story about a little girl that shared her lunches with crows. They started to bring her gifts. Little flowers and beads. Nice story. So adorable. When man is able to touch the wild. It’s just so remarkable.

He could go wherever he’s quite literally free as a bird, but he still pops back and see his good mate every day ❤

Crows recognize faces, remember faces, tell other crows who is bad, who is good. Super intelligent animals.

I love how he still makes the “I’m baby, feed me” face

Crows are incredibly intelligent. They can sense if you’re well intended. If you gift them food they will inform other crows about you.
One woman developed a special relationship with a crow. One day she lost her ring in the garden. A few days later the crow found it and left it in the feeder for her. 👍💕

I’ve recently learned that Crows have been found to be self-aware and an adult crow has the intelligence of a 7 year old. So I really believe Klaus knows exactly what you did for him and values your relationship.

If humans in general were this empathetic and kind. This world would be incredible.

I love that so many people in comments have had an experience with a crow. I did too. When I was a kid about 8 years old I was walking to school, and found a crow. He couldn't get out of the bush on the ground. His wing was injured. I took him to school and asked a janitor to keep him until after school. I went and got him, and took care of him. Feeding him worms etc. He finally got ok. I did the right thing my parents taught me, and released him out in our backyard. He flew up on the wires. He watched me for a bit, and flew away. I really thought I'd never see him again. I only kept him a few days. Anyway, a day or two later I was out in our pool. The crow came to me, he landed on the head of my lounge chair. I must have frozen and stared at him with my mouth open in surprise! I was so excited! I said, Hiiii!! How are you?? He brought me shiny things too. Mostly pop tops from soda cans. ( 1973 ) He came a few more times and then I don't believe he came back. I'm 58 now. I'll never forget our friendship. Ever.

Crows are the type of animal that doesn’t forget and will remember who has helped them.
