This is probably the coolest thing I’ve ever watched/heard. The amount of samples they used from so many songs is mind blowing.

The way that Daft Punk made One More Time will always be legendary to me. Like I can't believe how someone could hear all those different parts and create one of the catchiest hooks in modern music.

17:28: If you can sample THAT well, I'm not even gonna be mad about it

The whole premise of Daft Punk is that, as they're robots, they can't make their own music creations, so they do those very intricate samples

J Dilla 'was' the producer. Also important to note that he didnt use computers, he used drum and sampler machines, I pretty sure they must have analysed the song credited. J Dilla was quite the genius, definitly worth watching the various documentaries about him and his techniques.

That Britney Spears one was like background music of every 80s bollywood film. I always thought but never knew the exact one.

It would be so cool if you did something like this where you took a sample and made a full song!

The "drumbeat" that is used a lot is the amen break and is the most sampled part of any track

Joel : Does it relly sound like that?
Singer responses : Yeah!

That "Amen, Brother" break aka "the Amen break" is basically the basis of most hip hop and drum n bass/jungle. Had no idea it was used on the Futurama theme.
