This physics video tutorial provides a basic introduction into angular velocity and linear velocity. It explains how to calculate the linear speed from angular speed using a conversion / dimensional analysis process. It also explains how to calculate the angular velocity of a wheel given frequency and period. This tutorial contains plenty of examples and practice problems.

Thank you so much for these tutorials. I've passed mechanics so well last semester and I encourage you to continue your good work. May God bless you for your outstanding way of teaching and give you the strength to do even more! I'm so happy I could dance right now!

you always seem to make a video that gets to the point and is about exactly what i need to learn. The example questions are usually what I go over In school, but I always come back to this channel because it teaches me everything. Thank you organic chemistry tutor.

the way you explain why is radius is meter per radians is amazing nice job broo letting us know the most important thing about learning is the why

In the last question, you only converted the linear speed into the speed with the wished units, but you didn't multiply it by R (since V = W * R). Am I missing something?

For no. 4, to get 14.76 mph, you have to do instead of which would get 38.22 mph.

I am searching on how to transform angular acceleration as a function of theta to angular velocity as a function of time.
let say that a(theta)= Newtons*Sin(theta), where Newtons is a controlled variable that is held constant. And V an initial angular velocity at t=0.

At 10:01, the question asks for v with a radius of 20 cm, and yet he uses 0.1 m
