This was my old Battalion and I remember that parade ground well, Its where we farewell soldiers off to war and also welcome new soldiers to the battalion.
This Haka was taken in 2012 of 2ND 1ST Battalion farewell to our fallen brother Corporal Luke Tamatea (31) of Kawerau, who alongside
2/1 Haka will always be special to be as I have performed it as during my time with the battalion as I had lost brothers during my service. I still see some familiar faces in this video and will always hold this dear to me and will take with me in my journey in life.
