Your giving Eddie's England way too much respect, they have been 5th and 4th in Six Nations, France vs Ireland is going to be harder than you think to call, South Africa and New Zealand I would not rule out here.

France improved a lot but go and have a look. At malls after line-outs just before Frances no. 2 scored his two tries, Willimse no. 5 entered the malls blatently infront of Wayne Barnes(ref.). Then in last ruck just before Ntamac's no.10's try, Frances no. 7 blatently entered ruck from the side. Should have been 3 penalties to NZ. France received 3 tries unfairly from Wayne Barnes. Many more mistakes by Barnes.NZ against Ireland, Luke Pierce allowed Ireland to enter from side, dive-in, not support own weight, sealing-off 28 times. Aust. was cheated against Scotland and Wales. Match SA v Wales we counted Wales for ruck cheats 19 in first 8minutes, then stopped counting as it was a joke. SA v Eng. SA should have won easily if they received penalty tries being sacked on Eng goal-line. Max Mallins off-feet and not allowed to play slapped ball out of Kwagga Smith hands close to Eng. goal-line.One wonders if Southern Hemisphere wil not contemplate with drawing from World Cup 2023 as with such refereing it will be a no contest.

Spot on mate. France to win. I reckon Gatland is going to be brought into the All Blacks coaching team in order to overcome some problems when facing the northern hemisphere sides but I still reckon they'll loose to South Africa in the quarters.

I think the pool A & pool B analysis is the wrong way around I see Ireland wining that pool and New Zealand winning theirs so it will be Ireland France QF and New Zealand South Africa QF. I can see Ireland getting up for that game because they will be really annoyed that the rwc isn’t in their back yard for 2023 due to politics and making the semi final and I can see the abs putting the Boks out in the QF.

Fair analysis. I agree with you with your assessment except in the World Cup Final. Definitely a hot take but I think the Wallabies will upset France and win their 3rd title. We will see how both the Six Nations and Rugby Championship tournaments will turn out leading to the World Cup in 2023.

As romantic as this sounds RTS is probably the most important person in NZ rugby right now, the ABs can clean sweep all 7 matches if they have parity up front and a 12 who gets them over the gain line. That forward pack will be old enough to know how to get parity and having 3 AB captains in the starting forward 8 will help, can RTS ignite the attack, form a team with Beauden, break the gain line, distribute and be like a brick wall in defence? Can he be Nonu 2.0 (Umaga 3.0)?

Who is the top try scorer in the URC right now, and he has not even made his Springbok debut yet. I think you are overlooking the countless SA players, currently dominating European and Asian leagues....way too much depth I dont see another nation but the All Blacks getting in the way. SA vs NZ

I believe in SA if they win they will have more wins than any other nations so I think they will definitely give everything they can

Looking at the World rankings as they currently stand, World Rugby have shot themselves in the foot by having such an early draw. New Zealand and France should not be drawn together, neither should South Africa and Ireland. As much as I want Wales to do well we don't deserve a top seed and neither does England for that matter.

Any of the 'big guns' can win it, depending on the game they bring 'on the day'. Way too early to narrow things down now..France on home turf will be the biggest threat to the others. the English beat the Boks, but then, so did the Wallabies ( good styley).. So yeh...Toss a coin just now.

I hope it isn't the boks, aus or nzl. England is the only other country that won once so it's definitely someone else's turn to win in my opinion. It gets boring to see the same old countries winning over and over again
