In this live drawing exercise, Ashley will have 45 minutes to create a drawing that utilizes one of the forms of linear perspective. Ashley may choose 1 point, 2 point, or 3 point perspective to complete the drawing. The creative prompt is "What's the Point?". This drawing is created using graphite pencils and white drawing paper. Tune in and draw along during the live broadcast.

Ok now that I have started watching this episode, I understand!

I'm far from a great artist....but perspective just comes naturally to me. I never needed to think of "rules"...I just "saw" what needed to be done. I guess that goes along with being tops in my geometry classes in high school. I just naturally visualized relationships between objects. But it was difficult for me to explain to others because I just "saw" it.

I normally have a look for the photo reference in the community tab before watching but for some peculiar reason nothing has been posted.

You should explain that this, as you have taught, only works for objects on the same plane. For instance, objects on a road that goes uphill, downhill or around a curb. Not saying that you should teach complex perspective, but you should state that objects are in the same perspective only if they are on the same plane.
