That's actually a really good art tip. Adding a slanted line to make a grid was a great idea. I wondered how to do that, and this is very simple.

Honestly drawing as a whole is underrated. So many people I encounter simply discount their ability to visualize, draw, and simply be creative, but I am certain that given enough drive and time literally ANYONE can do this type of thing. It’s similar to fitness if you are willing to put in the effort and time, you WILL see results!

Tip: you dont have to make that floor, it just makes it easier afterwards. You can just draw lines to the dot for perspective on objects

That's a really good explanation for a 60 seconds video, would have helped me in first year of architecture school. But to go a bit further : the diagonal is related to the focal length. You can draw it freehand with any angle you want, it will just change the focal length of the scene you draw. Just try and grow your skill guys ;)
