Man… after binging your new stuff, your OG videos are so tame!! Great info!!

These old videos, although informative, lack your personality! Glad you change things up over the years.
Not that you read comments on 4 year old videos but for those of us "pre-amateurs", would love to see a vid on how to upgrade / improve cheap tools. (Example being a DIY replacement for fences that don't sit square on cheap table saws.)

The structure of these sleds seems to be pretty straight forward. Nice and easy, I plan to make one soon as future projects will be helped by the addition of this.

My takeaway from all of this wasn’t the sled. It was the how to cut a wide board on the miter saw. I slowed it up and watched a couple of times. Great tip. Thanks.

Thanks for sharing John! I built one of my own today with one difference, I extended my sled by 8 inches because I wanted to have a 2 foot trak and stop system on my sled (per side). Squared everything up and it's as accurate as can be! I couldn't be happier and believe this is one of the best, if not the best sled a woodworker can have!

I have been wanting to build a sled for some time so I have spent this rainy day on You Tube looking at all the great video's of sleds. After watching your video, the Kreg Trak and Stop Kit is the way i'm going to go. Thanks for the video.

Once you notice how often DIY video makers say "go ahead and" you can't unhear it.

I used the subscribe button to go ahead and subscribe. Go ahead and keep making good videos, and I'll go ahead and keep watching. I also used the thumbs up button to go ahead and like this video. I might go ahead and get this system on Amazon. Go ahead!

Dig it. Like the simplicity. Very functional without overthinking it!

Mistake I made on my sled a while back - I built it similar to this, and then later on decided to use it with a dado. When I put my fence support in, I used the same screws and had them fairly close to the blade (similar to how you have it, although probably closer). When I set it up and ran my sled through the blade to widen the slot, It hit a screw head and absolutely destroyed half the stack :D I'd recommend to anyone who might ever do that, keep your screws far away from the blade path.

I enjoyed watching it. You didn't mess around with tons of useless verbiage.
