I do not understand. The roommate SEES a masked man and hears cries of distress, witnesses a threat towards the roommate, ... AND DOES NOT CALL POLICE once the guy is gone??? Or did I misunderstand this? 🤔 This does not sound right.

Now wait a minute, she heard all these sounds, saw this dude and went to bed?? Makes no sense!

Wait... this roommate not only witnessed a stranger with a mask inside the house but went back to sleep and didn't check on anyone???

Everybody focus on her not calling the police (for good reason) but I’m wondering why the killer walked right pass her and didn’t kill her?

With friends like that, who needs enemies .

I have been steadfastly defending the two surviving roommates against all online attacks for weeks, but this information left me feeling _sick._ Those kids might have been saved had they got medical attention right away.

SO THE ROOMATE SAW HIM BUT WAITED 8 HOURS TO CALL POLICE

It seems inconceivable that the roommate after witnessing a strange masked man in the apartment, did not investigate further or call police, but waited until 11:00 a.m. the following morning. There are still many unanswered questions here.

What the hell!?? How could she not go call 911? He walked RIGHT by her? Why he let her live?

4am to 11am is a long long time to only call friends. Idc about how in shock you are. It’s like she felt she was the only victim and not her deceased friends.

I get being scared and hidding out of fear and staying hidden. I can even deal with waiting until daylight to come out. But you can call police while you hide, why wait over 7 hours to call for help?
I hope info is just being left out because its still early in the case. It makes me a little sick to my stomach thinking help could have possibly save someone, if roommate would have dialed 911.

WTF?! Why didn't she call the police or go investigate the strange noises/crying or at least call someone? Why did he walk right past her? This is so weird and makes no sense! I knew the surviving roommates heard or saw something from the start, but this revelation is BS. I see a masked man in my house in the dark and I hear strange noises and I go back to bed 🤦‍♀ 🤷‍♀

WTF... so she heard screaming late at night then sees a masked man in her house after that and she doesn’t check on her roommates or call the police?!?!?! I don’t understand what she was thinking! Now I’m not trying to blame her in anyway because as of now she’s a victim too but come on this is Very strange!

I feel as though there might be probable cause to charge the roommate. I’m shocked by her lack of actions. Despicable. She should feel guilty.

Brian doesn't stand a chance, they were on this guy early on, they knew it was him, they were smart about it, they kept quiet, gather the information and moved in, open and shut case.
The only ones who had a clue were the ones working on the case, everybody else, the public, news sources and even so-called experts couldn't have been more off.

And they didn’t call 911 right away? 8 HOURS LATER?!! That makes no sense at all. I’m positive that IF they called 911 the MOMENT they knew that someone was there, this wouldn’t have dragged on for WEEKS!

So the dog didn’t have to go out during those 8 hours? He didn’t have blood on him since he was in the room with Kaylee? Dogs are very smart. It’s heartbreaking to know how stressed and scared he must have been. And to think the roommate could have called to try to save 1 or all of them is gut wrenching.

Let’s not pre judge the roomate here. Unless you’ve been in that situation you have no clue how you would act/react. I can’t imagine how scary that was. Some of us fight and some of us flight/hide/freeze. That doesn’t make either type wrong or bad. I wonder if the same ppl judging the girl thought they had the case figured out and just found out they were very wrong. Even the cops on the media had the timeline wrong. We were all wrong about something here. Pre judgement typically doesn’t work in our favor. Why don’t you wait for all the info to come out before you shame a perfect stranger. If the cops thought she was culpable in any way she would not be free. If they can be understanding when they’re dealing with the situation first hand than we should be understanding as armchair detectives.
