I always find it sad when a big name in the game industry leaves and starts their own studio just to shut down without making a single product. But at the same time a lot say they are gonna start making these giant epic projects that are gonna rival the big names and then I'm like ok I like the ambition but until I see the proof I don't think that's gonna happen

Game developers canceling character packs and half-assed story expansions due to poor DLC sales is never a bummer. The only way we will return to full price games being complete at launch is if people stop giving these greedy slop peddlers even more money for stuff that should have been included. Shadow of the Erdtree is a genuine expansion, with tons of content in addition to an awesome base game. But now, every game from every studio thinks that they're entitled to charging the same price for some different skins or the end of a story that they arbitrarily paywalled.

TBH the reason I watch gameranx pretty loyally and why I have done for years is because there’s just no real BS…it’s honest gaming reviews and information without politics etc rotting it from the inside out. It’s part of the reason you guys are so successful, as well as the obvious talent on display.

i have doubts about Sony making a handheld except for streaming. part of why they abandoned the Vita was because they wanted all of their studios making games for the PS4. if they strait up made a PS5 handheld it would be crazy expensive

As a MK fan I didn't get the DLC since they are charging almost a full game for it, I love MK1 but they also got the greediest with this game

Considering the years and years between games, and the possibility a sequel might never happen, it might be a good thing if the “clone” is a decent game to give players more of what they like
