We're putting a little algebra to work to find the full price when you know the discount price in this percent word problem.

Grade 6th on Khan Academy: By the 6th grade, you're becoming a sophisticated mathemagician. Can anyone explain why you can't do $12.60/6 guavas to get the price of 1 guava at 30% off. Followed by x-.3x = $2.1 to solve for x as the price of 1 guava full price?

In Philippines you’ll learn percentages and algebra in 3rd grade I was shocked when I came there for the first time I didn’t know how to do the math

This is Awsome so like becoming a teach is more easy just hook up ur computer to a larger screen and let the kids watch his videos and WWWAAALLA! :) if the kids dont get it theres always an replay button lol!
