I stand in the still of darkness
Ember glows fall into the snow
I stand in a world of unknown
tears and blood shed among the land

I see many hearts have fallen here
Burning bright
Covered in dirt

Bury what’s left
Song of the old
Weeping beneath

Voices of the night carry on to eternity
Stars in their eyes
Fading flame life begins again
Spoken to the end
Dreams of what may become
Dreams of fire

As I wake
Night is still
Moon is high
Looking through me

Soon the light is fading
Reality has set in
