The new Maton Messiah EM100C has been remodelled for a new beginning in 2012. I had one for years and regret selling it. I bought a Gibson Hummingbird and a Taylor 814ce. Would be very interested to see how the Messiah compares to the Taylor 814ce. Very similar materials. BTW love your originals, beautiful.

Great playing! I may buy a Maton CW80 for $600. Not sure what year, but they are very rare here in Florida. Any thoughts on saving my money for a expensive Martin? I gig on weekends and the pickup system is cool. Don't understand the negative feedback on forums and little knowledge here in US. Guitar reminds me of a Taylor/Martin hybrid. Like the Maple neck too.

Idk why but Matons never seem to have that boomy bottom end Martins and some Gibsons are known for. My music teacher in HS had a Messiah along with a D35 and i clearly remember how much better the Martin was during Mass. Maton seems to be more akin to Taylor haha
