I went to the Maton factory to try, at the time a 325 (now superseded). I played the 325 & its was great, in budget etc. Whilst I was hanging up the 325, one of the 'makers' came out the factory area & said, 'just finished this Messiah, do you want to try it'? Sure, I'll try it. I strummed a simple C chord, thats my level, literally, just one strum, 'that's the guitar I want.' So ordered the dreadnought. Had it now since 2005. The best guitar Ive ever owned. Ive heard they call it the 'Messiah', because when you play it, you say to yourself 'Jesus christ'! That sounds unbelievable.! I still cant believe it.

I just purchased this guitar. It’s in a class of its own. I ordered it without the cutaway. Beautiful tone and superbly crafted. It’s not cheap but worth every penny. Most beautiful acoustic I have ever played.

Has a great sound here. Also, Stradivarious built a violin he named the Messiah, It never left his shop until he died, and It is immaculate condition even today.

I have a 2013 and sounds so silky smooth. I pulled it out of the case and played along to "Nothing Else Matters" from Metallica, and my mother couldn't believe I was playing exactly along with the speaker. Epic guitar, no matter what you play on it.

I have a 2022 Messiah 808 with cutaway. Mine doesn't have the nice binding like this even though I explicitly asked for it but it sure plays nice

Maton makes many excellent guitars, but this one really stands out to me above all the others. It's hard to beat the Sitka/Indian rosewood combo.

Ah yes the combination of a Spruce top with Indian Rosewood back and sides. To my ear that makes for beautiful, balanced tone.

it looks so good I love this ebony headstock!!!! Can I add some money to exchange this EM100c with my 3-month-old EA80c the Australian Maton? I love the black wood side and back, but this version of Messiah look so good Well done Maton!!!!

They no longer make EM100J, EM100. ONLY EM100C . SO
