thats a reasonable law. i ride, but i dont lane split even though its not illegal in my state, although there are times i think i should because it is indeed safer for me. i will consider it in the future. better than being rear ended by some idiot not paying attention.

Actually I have always known that that is fully legal unless they changed it a few years back because I am 54 Years old I have lived in Tucson most of my life and I have known before I was 16 that a motorcycle in Tucson can legally drive in between the cars at a stopped traffic light but they couldn't drive any more than 10mph faster than the cars they passed as some were still moving while coming to a stop. Otherwise at no other time can a motorcyclist share your lane. I took drivers education in High school and that is what they taught us about motorcyclists.

And yes it is not good, especially because of the way some people drive around stupid and not paying any attention! But that is their choice and no need for them to "Turn their bike off" during traffic jams.

Not good they're hidden spots, areas, sudden lane changes, , , not good at all, turn your bike off when there's traffic jams
