Visa scam: The people paying for visas for jobs that don't exist

A Sky News investigation has shown that the skilled worker visa system is being abused with people promised jobs in the UK that don't exist.

One woman from Nigeria said she paid £10,000 to an "agent" for a skilled worker visa. She became destitute despite being promised a job in Britain.

How come the Home Office issued the visa without clarifying if it is a legal job order.

This situation has two sides and its more prevalent in healthcare. On one hand, we have herd stories of many who paid these agents knowing there is no job, this group used this as a means to migrate. The second question is, these visas were issued by the home office, so what is the process of verifying the genuineness of an application?

I warn people but they don't listen, even people back home will be telling me they have money to pay, I keep telling them never to pay anyone money but search for the jobs and process their documents by themselves but many are looking for easy way out, so although I feel bad for them they need to take part of the blame 😢

My sister daughter also in Telford she pay £5000 pounds to come here the job they give her is just 2hours a day and they also told her to pay rent!! How is she supposed to survive?

I have written theHome Office, GLAA, EAS, crimestoppers, police, dept of social care, Immigration & boders agency. They just don't care nor responded. Its a joke.
