Ports are fucked with DP 1.4. Would not buy it as long as it has that. ASUS really needs to get their shit together.

Damn, you almost had me then you said it’s DP 1.4. If I’m paying a premium price then I’d expect the latest technology in all areas.

I have the Samsung G9 Oled 49" (same 2nd-gen QD-Oled display technology) and it's unreal how good it is.
This will be amazing for people who prefer 16:9, I'm an ultrawide guy so the G9 is endgame for me.

Monitors have been so far behind TVs for so long so this is really nice to see. The longevity and burn-in will be the real question though.

No DP2.1. All that tech, even fancy heatsinks, just to make that blunder. Will be waiting for something similar

I'm waiting for this Monitor, But in 27 Inch. keep me posted for THAT monitor, 32 too big for competitive gaming TBH.

Just when you thought there you have the perfect display... He said DP 1.4 DSC. Let's wait another year or two to get DP 2.1 with these specs and then I'll pay the premium price.

All QD-OLED monitors have been semi-glossy apparently. The problem of blacks turning grey under direct light is an inherent QD-OLED issue due to not using a polarizer.
Just like the AW3423DW / DWF etc these 'semi-glossy' coatings are actually well done.

Most important is passive cooling. Got burned with mini led that has a fan... Which went bad after 4 years and monitor broke.
Passive will go a long way

@thedisplayguy This is all that we waited for so long, this is incredible, great news! You can achieve this victory in that glossy vs matte war, you did a lot for it!

Interested in this one and will be checking lots of reviews. The only concern is the ASUS Quality Control on their product lines..

So happy that 32 inch, glossy Oled monitor has finally came! I really don’t understand why LG / Samsung / Dell just keep coming out with matte display for oled these past few years. I just wanna a glossy display like studio display but for gaming 😭
