If the Buddha is symbolic of the earth, the necklace/beads that he holds may be in reference to the moon (or the earth's 'grip' on the moon). The mala has 108 beads which is a number associated with lunar measure. There are also a few paintings of Buddha meditating within the proportions of the squaring the circle diagram placing him in the same spot as the earth would be in relation to the moon, within that same schematic. Facepalm!! That fully explains why there have been buddha statues found ALL OVER the place... even in the Grand Canyon! And, woo woo time, why i feel so connected to more Buddhist principles than "church-y" or later Christian ones, even to the point of getting choked up at the sounds of taoist or Buddhist monks chanting or making traditional musics. I have watched about 3 minuets into the video and it is very clear to me that you really don't understand Buddhism at all if these are your ideas.
Have you read any of the Sutras? I take no stance on whatever you are saying in this video, as I don't really know what it is, nor do i clear to. But the very fact that you think Buddhism is a worship of the body, hell a worship of *anything* tells me that you do not know anything about the Buddha Siddhartha's dharma. A Youtube comment is probably the worst place one could have a discussion about Buddhism though, so I'll just say that I hope you're doing well and I'm glad you're no longer at that job it sounds like you hated. May i suggest, if gou havent, to dive deep into ancient greece. I avoided the topic due to its complexity and spent decades on sumeria, buddhism, christianity, and rome. The last year ive been forced to go cery deep into greece, specually and naturally the bronze age.
