When Jesus spoke to the devil in the wilderness, He called him Satan, which simply means Adversary.

You missed the point. He's not saying that Jesus is satan, the devil, or even evil. He's saying that the Latin word, lucifer, is the planet venus, also known as the bright morning star.

The bright morning star (Lucifer) was used as a title to signify a very powerful person, like a living god.

Many rulers, kings, and pharaohs throughout history called themselves or were called the morning star, bright morning star, or morning and evening star, which are all referring to the planet venus, which is the the Latin word lucifer. It's a title.

In Isaiah 14:12-14, he's talking about the King of Babylon who puts himself as equal with the most high, calling himself the morning star, Lucifer.

Lucifer WAS called the Son of the Morning or something. Then Jesus is called the Morning Star. What happened? Lucifer got deposed and Jesus assumed the title.

Maxwell is actually right. Machiachs name is not Jesus, there was no letter J anywhere until 1524 and it doesn't exist in Hebrew at all which was the first language scripture was translated in from pictographs.

I think the clip of JM was taken out of context. Throughout his Mystery Babylon series, he frequently states that he is a Christian and that the mystery schools are those who teach that Lucifer was Jesus. He frequently iterated that this wasn’t something that he personally believed. Maybe try listening to more than just a random clip that someone parsed together before passing judgement.

My guess is Maxwell is getting this because "the bright morning star" is associated with Venus - and Venus is associated with Lucifer - son of the morning. The words may not be the exact same but the meaning may be.
