A Ka Dua - A sacred chant in ancient Egyptian

The words are ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs translated from the Stele of Revealing of Ankh-ef-en-Khonsu, a Priest of Montu who lived around 680 BCE. The Stele was highly significant in the events leading to the reception of the Book of the Law, the central work of Aleister Crowley's magickal system of Thelema.

Crowley's Paraphrase:
Unity uttermost showed!
I adore the might of Thy breath,
Supreme and terrible God,
Who makest the gods and death
To tremble before Thee—
I, I adore thee!

Ancient Egypt gives me a feeling I can't describe or explain, it's so familiar, I have this feeling with ancient Egypt since I was a little kid, it always fascinated me, when I saw a pyramid or something or I heard ancient Egyptian music it gave me that feeling, I still get this feeling, it's like I lived in ancient Egypt in my past life

Translation according to the Cairo Museum:
"O sublime one!
I adore the greatness of your spirits,
O formidable soul,
Who inspires terror of himself among the gods."

in the Egyptian Ritual Magick group I was a member of, we would chant this ancient mantra while doing karma yoga (picking fruit, sweeping leaves, etc)...it trains the mind to ignore the body and makes all mundane tasks fly by with sacred ease....I have very fond memories of chanting this endlessly back in the 90s in a Thelemic group....

a ka dua,
"O High One!
tuf ur biu,
May he be praised!
bi a’a chefu,
The one great of Power!
dudu nur af an nuteru.
The Spirit great of Dignity, who places fear of himself among the gods!”

The human voice is truly a remarkable thing. It can bring people together, or tear them apart. Make people laugh, or cry. Bring love, and breed hate. Cause fear, or inspire courage. It sooths, it agitates. It makes peace, it starts wars. It can guide or misguide.
It also has the ability to harmonize with all other voices from all different cultures, all types of religions, beliefs, and walks of life on the planet in one song

I stumbled across this, I’m white uneducated to a point, studied world religion, one class I passed. Had a rough life, believed in the grand architect of all beings and every culture after that. I receive and see God in everyday enlightenments. This is really beautiful, ancient and healing. When you reach spiritual enlightenment, God sends ya gems like this. Only the chosen ones that can see his light.

This is a chant for healing:
Ancient moons, lend your power
Bring me peace this very hour
I call upon your strength and might
Bless your child this secret night.

Reading the comments..we were all there. Does anyone else "dream" of the temples? Feel the cool floor under your feet. Smell the incense thick in the air. Reverence. I wake sweating, having had been staring at Sekmet, silent, unable to move in the dream. I have found my tribe. 🎉❤😊 P.S. Born 9-12-1974. Master number 33. I was 33rd like. I LOVE IT!

Whenever I listen to this during my meditation sessions I'm approached by a beautiful silver Bengal cat with a turquoise scarab necklace.

I can't even explain how this makes me feel but its deeply beautiful, comforting and familiar in some way. Like reconnecting with something I have lost or forgotten. I can't explain it.

The first time I meditated on this I was LITERALLY transported back to Acient Egypt. I remember there were these women helping me get ready for something important. When I walked into the room, there were a bunch of people smiling and there was one man who stood out the most.
When I walked up to him it felt like I knew him, he smiled and said he missed me and that it had been a very long time. I saw his face clearly just before he said this and I had a flash back to a face that belonged to Paraoh Akhenaten's mummy! Plus the first time i heard this song i knew every word somehow which also added to the familiarity.
