Oh man, the music is a mix of sadness and something that I can't explain.I used to play spore for 8 years, and im a bit crying at hearing this theme:, ( I wish I could travel back to 2009 when the game where popular and had a great community:( Now the game is forgotten, and when I play it nowadays, I feel like if I were playing a video game in a bunker, years later of an apocalypse, I feel alone when I play it now.I feel really sad.Yes, I suffer to much emotions caused by nothing (((

This just gave me the most heart-wrenching nostalgia trip i've ever experienced in my I was 9 years old then and now I'm 22. This game is my favorite memory of all time. Much love to everybody who also took part in this journey <3

I don't know why am i crying when i hear that music. Maybe because it's sound so beautiful. Or I miss the time I first started playing that cool game....

I realize now why I played this game so spontaneously.
I would sit on the menu to relax. I would spin the Galaxy around and around while listening to this music and maybe go through all of my achievements in the Sporepedia.
But most of the time, I would get an urge to hop back in and click on one of my planets. This would lead to unscheduled and spontaneous play.
I've gotten so many headaches in this buggy, optimized mess and I adore it!
This game has helped me push through even my deepest trenches of poverty as a kid simply due to its weak system requirements.
This is breathtaking, and I'll always come back to it. Even though I have no way of accessing a PC or playing the game right now (and likely not for years to come...) my brain is flowing with ideas for new creatures, architecture, and adventures!

i didn't know about any of the hype spore supposedly didn't live up to, but honestly? i'm glad for that. for a 6 year-old who doesn't pay attention to the news, Spore was an incredible, extremely memorable experience. I've managed to play it a couple times later on and warmed up to the space stage now that I understand it, but it has always been something I think about fondly.
Thank you Will Wright and anyone in 2008 Maxis - of all the things I had forgotten through childhood hardship, I never forgot you.

i sometimes go back to Spore, all these years later. the Sporepedia rarely updates now, most all the creators i followed for years have stopped playing. years of middle school and high school memories stored away on the cloud, just barely hanging in there. where once the main menu's music filled me with wonder and excitement over what new planet i would play on next, now it fills me with bittersweet nostalgia. for all Spore's problems, Spore remains to be one of those games that stays with you forever. i like to imagine that, if Darkspore hadn't killed the franchise, EA would've possibly made a sequel

The most magical moment in Spore is fully zooming out in the space stage and hearing this play as you view the whole galaxy for yourself this time. Millions of years of evolution and you finally made it.

I could cry from the nostalgia this song brings me. Infact, I think I will.

I was 5 when this game came out and have so many fond memories of playing this with my brother every Friday evening after coming home from kindergarten. We'd race to take off our outdoor clothes and see who gets to the computer first. We got 30min of playtime each.

Istg my brother could have been a Spore speedrunner back then because of how fast he completed all the stages. Man couldn't even read yet and he was teaching me how to play the game better and get through the creature stage faster.

Our play styles were complete opposites of each other. He would kill everything on sight meanwhile I avoided all the hostile creatures like the plague. He maxed out everything in the attack department while I made my creature look "pretty" and focused more on the social stats. If I ran into enemies that I had to kill, I'd let my brother take over and watch as he slaughtered the enemies (or got killed in the process) and I'd help make his creations look "cool". A perfect symbiosis if you ask me 😂

Sorry, a bit of a ramble. I just really love Spore and the memories I have of that game. It'll always have a special place in my heart.

I don't comment often on youtube that much but i just felt to after while listenning that theme, I used to play this game a lot when i was kid, its may be the game were i have the most hours ever with garry's mod, i remember in 2008-2009 when the game was out i was 8 years old i noticed the game in a store and i asked my dad if he knew about it and so the next day he cracked it and i got it on my computer, i didn't knew what all of this was about before but i was really happy to finally had the game, i spent lot on time on the game doing saves, create stuff, And even got the galactic adventure expansion wich was even greater with the missions editor, i remember spending hours and hours making missions and characters, This game will be forever in my mind and memories of my childhoods, that time when you wasn't worrying about a thing, when you got back in your home playing games all day, in 2018 i buyed the game on steam i played it, But it didn't felt the same as i played it when i was a kid, I still love this game a lot and i played it a lot, but something was off, The last time i launched it its was in 2021 and now today im 24 years old, I feel nostalgia about these days when i was a kid, And sadness too because i know that infortunatly i didn't get to cherich those moment as a child as i wanted to grow up fast, but you see how its hurts and how its anxious to grow up with everything you began to understand as you began to be more mature, I hope someday i'll get to have a child and show him this game and told him all the memories i had when i was a kid.
