Physics on Khan Academy: Physics is the study of the basic principles that govern the physical world around us. We'll start by looking at motion itself. Then, we'll learn about forces, momentum, energy, and other concepts in lots of different physical situations. To get the most out of physics, you'll need a solid understanding of algebra and a basic understanding of trigonometry.

About Khan Academy: Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom. We tackle math, science, computer programming, history, art history, economics, and more. Our math missions guide learners from kindergarten to calculus using state-of-the-art, adaptive technology that identifies strengths and learning gaps. We've also partnered with institutions like NASA, The Museum of Modern Art, The California Academy of Sciences, and MIT to offer specialized content.

To be honest, you teach better than most of the teachers out there and by just watching this ten minutes long video, I can pretty much comprehend everything that is taught about this subject.. Well done sir, well done.

When I was a student I struggled with these concepts a great deal. I passed my classes with a lot of hard work, but deep down I didn't truly _understand_ them. I just tried to copy the equations my teachers used and hoped for the best. But now, thanks to you, many years later I'm grasping these concepts at last. Thank you.

This has really helped explain integrals because i just started integral calculus and I didn't understand the relation between the antiderivative and area but this explains it all. Thank you Sal

Oh my god, it took me decade to understand this, i searched everywhere to get my doubt cleared related to area under velocity time graph for uniform acceleration, every time the actual value was larger than the value obtained from graph, and it always banged my head but today I'm very grateful, may Almighty bless you🙏

It is the fundamental of algebraic based physics. A sturdy understanding help you learn the rest. I wish I could have met a excellent teacher like this guy in my high school physics lecture.

This is an exciting study, understanding the mathematics behind everyday events that we walk by and don't stop to smell the roses. Thanks, great job.

Thank you, I’ve been sick for the past two days and my physics teacher posted that we have a test the next day on this (which I haven’t learned because I was out). Thank you for teaching me this I feel 10000% more confident now 🙏.

wow you did a much better job at explaining this than my teacher. She briefly told the class about this and left basically everyone confused

I think i don't know any thing about physics but by these videos i can understand what the physics is

You should have written down the y=mx+b equation on this one and shown how acceleration = m = change in x/change in y

Or just know the velocity is the 1st derivative, and acceleration is the 2nd. So integrating one time is the displacement, which is the integral of the graph, which is the area under the curve.
