To people who have confusion:-
Distance:- the total path covered by an object.

Displacement:- the shortest distance between the starting to the final position

Distant traveled basically indicates the amount of travelling distance, such as, "to get here to there, i travelled 4 km, so the distant traveled is 4km". On the other hand, there is straight shortcut to get here to there which is around 2 km, so ultimately, the displacement will be 2 I guess🤔
