Tencent has launched a new payment method for Weixin Pay users, who simply need to scan their hands at palm print recognition machines. The new technology allows users to pay for rides on Beijing’s airport express line and shop at Shenzhen University.

when i was last in china, I was so surprised just how far ahead they were. Even street venders were cashless (and even cardless). This was in 2019. That year was when I finally realized that Australia was the 3rd world. Fast forward to this year and after going to Japan, I've realized that Japan is no longer that impressive technological marvel anymore. China is.
