Usb wifi dongles do not work on android phones because they do not have the drivers to even recognize the adapter. You would need a modded kernal or simply install a linux os onto your phone. But if someone was to take the linux drivers for the adapter they could compile it to work on a normal android device with albit some minor adjustments and it shouod work. Cause android is a linux kenel.

How could you immediately test second time even without switching the wifi network from the old to the new external wifi for a moment if we assume external wifi detected by phone so fast ( which is not the case ) and drivers are automatically installed so fast ( which in reality no drivers supports external wifi by default without making phone root )..Big thumps down..
