Born in 1987. One thing that always stands out about 80’s media, from movies to tv to music, is that it has this unabashed optimism about it. It just felt like there was so much more of a: Let’s just let the good times roll and no matter what happens, we’ll figure it out, quality to media back then. Even the commercials on tv just felt more upbeat and happy. The synthesizer sound that accompanied this era also felt new and optimistic. Like, the world we always dreamed about in science fiction was slowly becoming apart of everyday life (Personal computers, cell phones, etc). To wake up in 2024, where everything is so downbeat, empty, dry and hallow just makes me wish to be apart of this decade so much more.

Wow. This really takes me back to the 80s/90s. I was born it 1975. When you're young, the days go by slowly. When you're older, they go by fast.
I really miss those days gone by. Apple. Nintendo/Sega/Playstation, Cellphones, CD's, Windows 95, 2000, XP, etc, Grunge Rock. Good times.

Son still doesn't see dad at the final match. Son wins. Turns to see dad still isn't in the crowd. Then he turns back around, dad is standing in the venue entrance. He made it just in time to see his son win.

When I listen to the music and close my eyes I am back in my 80s childhood - I sit on my children's bike again, cycling down the street to get home on time - Mom says when the street lights start to light up, it's dinner time. And the next day I meet my friends on the street corner. We buy a full bag of candy for a few cents, play in the nature the whole day and feel the freedom of existence - without cell phones and the Internet. It will always be in my heart. ♥️

Great music and ambience. I graduated high school in 1988. Nobody I knew found the corporate '80s soulful. We often called it soul killing and Yuppie, but somehow you have seen the beauty of focus in what could have been sterile surroundings. This is more what things should have been than what they were, but my nostalgic bent loves it.

I Graduated High School in 1988... I grew up in Dearborn Michigan & can remember the Ford employees having offices that looked like these... Now after decades in business, I'm amazed at how sparsely equipped offices were back then... Perhaps more feng shui than our spaces today which is in the reverse direction I thought we would move... life is interesting...
