After the 1967 6 Day War, many Israelis moved to the West Bank despite that Israel never officially annexed the area. The question is, why?

Jordan ethnically cleansed Judea and Samaria when they illegally occupied the land. They named it “West Bank” under Jordanian colonization. The only reason the Arabs were “horrified” was because their pride was damaged when a minority they oppressed for centuries weren’t all unalived as planned and instead decolonized their ancestral land. If fellow Arabs came in their place, they would have moved on.

Conflicts all started by their arab neighbours.

Israel was given a very small portion of land (they accepted that and were happy for the Arabs to take the majority). They also offered the Arabs even more, but 'Palestine' wouldn't accept. They would accept nothing less than ALL of it. It's hard to have any sympathy.

You leave out a lot of important information.
1) Palestine could have had that oroginal border plan, but while israel accepted they denied it, wanting even more land.

2) The arab countries surrounding israel started the 6 day war. Israel defended itself. Its not fair to say Palestinians were in 'horror' when they were part of starting the war.

3) There were no 'Palestinians' yet. Not as a national identity. Palestine was purely a regional term coined by the Romans. At this point West Bank was controlled by Jordan (which is why its called West Bank, because it is on the west bank of the jordan river), and Egypt controlled Gaza.

4) Israel offered Gaza back to Egypt and they refused to take it. Palestinians had already tried overthrowing both Egypt and Jordan, so they wanted nothing to do with them anymore. Thats why they still dont accept refugees now.

5) While israel acknowledges a lot of land in the west bank as Jewish homeland, they dont really want to control it anymore. Israel would rather palestine would leave Israel alone and do their own thing, as long as certain Jewish camps are kept, but Palestine is still insistent on controlling ALL of Israel which is why Israel needs to keep soldiers present.

There was a large Jewish community in Hebron until the pogroms against them in 1929, 40 years before the state of Israel.

Well thats what happens in wars some country gains land and the other loses
And why before the 6 day war didnt u say that jordan controlled the west bank and east Jerusalem and Egypt controlled gaza
And they started a war with Israel a couple of times and lost every time

The initiators of war lose land when they lose the war. Israel shouldn't have given the West Bank/Judea and Samaria and Gaza at all. Not even Sinai perhaps! İt was rightfully won by the Jewish state, with many sacrifices by the way!

All those happenings are not about a free Palesitne but about an ongoing pogrom against Israeli Jews for 75 years. It is not about land. The key word is Jew.

That’s what happens if you start the aggression and lose. You lose the land too. Look up Bozen/Bolzano and Koenigsberg/Kaliningrad.

There's no such a place called west bank
It's called Judea & Samaria

If the Jordainians hadn't denied Jews access to their holiest sights from 48 to 67 it might have helped dampen the furvor to move to the west bank after 67. Of course, Jordan not joining the 67 war would have been good too.

Because there is no reason why Jews can’t live in JUDEA AND SAMARIA, cradle of JEWISH civilisation (renamed by the greco-roman ‘Palestina’ by Roman invaders and renamed ‘West Bank’ during the illegal occupation by @rob colonial Hashemite (Saudi migrant King) Jordanian invaders that ended in 1967 liberation. Also no reason why Jews can’t live in YERUSHALAYIM, Holiest city of the Jewish people that was 80% Jewish in 1864 (Ottoman Turk occupation census) before massive @rob (feudal clans, bedouin nomads etc) came flooding in by the hundreds of thousands 1880+ afterJews bought and developed the land. (Improve agriculture, business etc) and also after the fall of Ottoman Turk occupation

The first Israeli West Bank settlers after 1967 came to the village of Kfar Etzion.
They had been born in the village of Kfar Etzion before 1948 but the Jordanians conquored and expelled them.
