In 70's as a student I worked in two Jewish owned restaurants and as a Moslem then I was treated as if I was part of their family.
I will never forget the kindness they rendered me.
Even when there was prayer time, they would remind me that I could use their offices for my rituals. Both were older gentleman and 50 years has already passed.

It is the only thing of value that we can take anywhere". This is also one of the reasons why Jewish people value education so much and it was passed down to their children.

In my jewish community, there are charity organizations for everything a person might ever need- from strollers and formula to burial services. Everything is free and accessible to anyone who needs it.
I am truly blessed to live in my community.
When my grandpa was dying in the hospital, people brought us 3 home cooked meals every day to his hospital room, organized prayers, cleaned our home, and helped us arrange the funeral without us having to lift a finger or pay a penny. Most of those angels I have never known before, they just wanted to help.

You didn't mention that Jews for centuries were at the very least bi-lingual, many of them polyglots. My old landlord in Jerusalem, may God rest his soul, spoke and understood fifteen languages, that sort of ability is a great tool for international commerce.

The Jewish people in my life can be very serious, but they also have the most wonderful sense of humour. It is what I noticed first: an incomparable capacity to celebrate the absurdity of human foibles with laughter, and they do it so brilliantly.

It's not a universal fact that Jews are all wealthy, but it is true that they are professionally successful in greater proportion than other groups. My perception is that they have valued and practiced scholarship for centuries and that leads to professional success. They have made major contributions to all branches of science, medicine, engineering, literature and more.

A lot of Jewish people become professionals, lawyers, doctors, dentists etc. Finance lending is a fairly lazy analogy as very few ordinary Jews are involved in this area. My best pal is Jewish. Although he's not greatly fussed about practicing etc his family and wider family are pretty hard working and simply don't waste their cash on rubbish most other people unfortunately do. The video is right they don't view money as a right but a hard fought reward for diligent working. Very sociable to each other and highly educated in general. Also, it's a very matriarchal group. Don't upset a Jewish mama 😂 A really good group all round 🤙
