Quick and Simple way of using Automation in Logic Pro X!

I've been using Logic Pro X for the past 6 years and this is the quickest and most flexible way that I know of to automate FX onto your tracks. All videos in my quick tip series will help improve your music production skills and are all formatted to feel quick and to the point. Come in- get your tip, and get out.

In this example, I automate EQ, Logic's stock phaser plug in as well as some reverb. A reminder that the sample that I use is available for FREE on my website- linked up above.

Great video! You could also take it one level further and assign that parameter to a knob/slider on a midi controller. It'd be a little smoother sounding than using the cursor to adjust, and you could potentially skip the clean up after.

I LOOKED DOWN on FL Studio until I switched to logic.
FL studio handles automation in the most straightforward way possible

Just jumped on board your channel and I know this is 3yrs old but I have had the opportunity to use Logic Pro 10.8.1. As a novice having fun, my question is do these parameter changes only effect samples or can it also effect drawn in midi regions ?
