Max is one of the greats.
Here's an argument against parallel universes, if, by that, we mean universes where duplicates of us and everything else exists: uniqueness is important to ppl (see Star Trek episodes critiquing clones), and if it is important to ppl because duplication of us is bad, then the universe prohibits duplication, and so parallel universes.
