Great review - my EV6 AWD gets delivered in next 2 weeks, ordered when it just seemed like a good idea. Glad my bet isn't too far off the mark :-)

Looks like prices have gone up considerably since you filmed this. The Air is now $78k and GT-Line AWD is $95k drive away.

In Canada, the tesla model 3 SR+ is 20k higher in price than the EV6 Gt-Line.

Hi Tom, I love your reviews! Did you get any idea from Kia as to when they may open ordering for the EV6 again in Australia?

Hi Tom, great review! You covered everything I needed to know... So to $90, 000 question - would you swap a longe range Model 3 for this car ?

Excellent review you should have a lot more viewers for this. A lot of people are comparing the ev6 with the model 3. Seems like the ev6 is a much better choice

I still cannot make my mind up between the Kia EV6 and Tesla Model Y. I like the style of the EV6 and the software integration of the MY. Which car shall I choose, not that I can actual order either of them right now? Also will Tesla's be getting V2L?

Great review, the Kia looks like a fantastic alternatively. I'm not sure if I'd upgrade from my Performance 3 to a Model Y (as much as I'd love the utility). I still have my heart set on an X.. one day.. if I can get over the mortgage I'd need to take out!

I really do hope the infrastructure ramps up in Australia with the new EV's hitting the market and EV sales/deliveries increasing quicker and quicker. It's noticeable how hard it is to get a top up at a destination charger over the last year or so - it's also the current attractive advantage of owning a Tesla with the available network, including superchargers.

I may have missed this previously, any thoughts for a comparison with a Mercedes EQC?

Any idea why the Australian model 3 can't be ordered with a tow hook, whereas other countries do? Love your on-road videos. Thanks, Greg.

These will make great transition vehicles.

I own a model 3 22 LFP, I’m not a fan. I believed the hype, believed I’d fit, the car got decent range, and EVs were the future, I’m 6’5” totally cramped in the car, and always searching for chargers. I charge at home, then again outside at a supercharger because I bought the vehicle for Uber specifically and gas has gotten very high stateside. The trunk and frunk are the best parts of the car, the interior room particularly the front seat and floor height, the constant alerts, the steering, the braking, and the range are all problems for me. The 3 feels like a car built by little people that don’t drive, and arent into cars, it’s weird to me personally, and I’m going to sell it soon as it’s worth more used than it was new…. Even my registration was problematic, it reads to a black car and my car is blue, nothing I can do about it. Overall, I believe EV’s are overhyped, but if you must buy one, the model y, and EV6 are probably the way to go as the S is cramped, and the X is so overpriced.

Do you think it will hurt Tesla's sales, if so how much and how do you think it will be recognised in the market in terms of sales and uptake.

So M3 LR with Accel software time to 100k? Love the Dash Display.

Why so expensive for battery powered vehicle?

The Model 3 looks so dated and small up against the EV6. Model 3 interior is better though. Less knobs and buttons.

Why did I start laughing when he mentioned the price for a Kia? Probably because I could get a Cadilac LYRIQ for that price. I mean, I guess if you love Kia and are sold on the brand. To me Kia has never been a premium level car, but they sure did put a premium price tag on it.

Tell me you think Tesla is better without saying Tesla is better 😅
