Great all-timer movie. RIP Gary Winick its director. Died young to brain cancer.

Loved watching this movie with the family on DVD as a kid. Gave it a watch again recently as an adult... and when the "Vienna" song scene came... it broke me.

As a kid, it was sad seeing Jenna sad. But as an adult... where sometimes it can feel like were lost teens in an adult's body -- it felt really strong how older Jenna apparently takes her relationships for granted, but as soon as younger Jenna takes over and her world collapses around her due to the history of her older self -- the place of comfort she looked for... was her parents' home and sleeping beside her mom.

Its a nice inverse and punctuation of how some of us can take our youth for granted... only to seek its simple comforts later in life... like going to your parents when you feel like you have nowhere else to go.
