How you should be adding transitions to your audio in DaVinci Resolve!

Its takes to much time to drag and drop audio transitions in DaVinci Resolve - There is a MUCH easier way to do that. Select all your clips and with a few button presses there will be transitions through them all. I also explain how to change the duration of those Cross Fades!

Great video! Really helpful for those long projects to make sure I don't miss any audio clips. Now, I'd really like to understand what exactly is the difference between the 0db and the other transitions and how it applies in a practical setting. Thanks!

Hey yeah I learned to do this in Premier Pro >> which was such a time saver for all continuous audio that has been chopped up and sandwiched together... really useful to know how to do this in Resolve perfect thank you 👌💯🎥😎🌟

Great vid! In the keyboard shortcuts, if you bind ctrl-T to the Fairlight Timeline "add transition" does that get around the issue of having the transition apply to both audio and video?

Unlink is not the best option, you can select all and hit Option + U to chance de selection between audio+video, only audio, only video, unlink is bad because if you want to move the vídeo, you will need to move the audio together but you will need to select them both manually.
And davinci has a short cut to add only audio transition and only video transition, just adding Shift or Option (alt) in CMD (ctrl)+T shortcut

I never thought of the hotkeys for some reason in adding transition. I always highlight all and right click on the transition i want and choose apply to selected clips. 🤦‍♀️ 😂🤣

I photographed performances of singers on stage. I recorded the sound directly from the console amplification system. With Tascam DR-40X. And I edit in DAVINCI RESOLVE

during the performance I get stereoTwo tracks. But in the sound recording device, it is on dual. One is high volume and the other is limited to minus 12. Then after recording, if everything is fine, I use only the high volume.Tell me Please if this is how it should be.

You are a professional. When recording sound from a console of a singer's performance. What should be the limit when recording sound from the board? Minus 6- Minus 3 Minus 12 DB or other?
And what should the sound limit be during video editing minus 6 DB, minus 3 DB or other?
Thanks

if u allow me to help even more, u don't need to unlink your footage, just hold ALT and select the audio channel only (don't know MAC equivalent, but i guess it will help)
