If you are dissatisfied with a company's descisions, stop giving that company money. In this case, that means to NOT buy YouTube premium and start using ad blockers. To support the creators you have normally whitelisted, maybe buy some merch or donate directly. For less data colection, watch stuff anonymously. And if push comes to shove, look for alternatives.
