The best time to visit Egypt is different for every traveler, because October-April are good months to go to Cairo for cooler weather, but summer is a great time for discounted tickets and fewer tourists. I've been to Egypt in June/July a few times, and it's my favorite time. It's scorching, the sun is high up, and everything is bright and glowing. You will feel a real Egyptian desert experience. 🙂

I have gone to Egypt several times and have only gone once during the cooler months and it is packed. I love going in the summer month it's less people and the prices are much better too. You can get great deals at many of the top rated hotels. One other things about Egypt is the delivery service. You can get any food ideas delivered makes it great for staying in and relaxing around the pool.

Wish I watched this video before going to Egypt. Did not know they usually do not have heaters in the apartments. Cairo was OK but It was very cold and windy in Alexandria in January. Even very cold for a person from Estonia, which has quite cold winters.

I am here in Cairo in the middle of November and the temperatures have been 23-26C the whole time. I enjoy these temps and wouldn't want it any hotter.

Interesting. I have been and I would recommend most people to go outside of the high season but also avoid the heat if you cannot stand high temperatures.
Believe me, it is HOT in July and August above all.
Yes, there are less tourists but if you have to go then, I highly recommend, what this excellent video did not mention (!) is to stay at a decent hotel with a swimming pool, with Air con inside the hotel. Decent eateries inside the hotel.

Get up early every day and do the excursions from as early as 5am and by the time you get back to your hotel, the pool will be an excellent way to cool down.
Then there are the eateries inside the hotel where your can eat, your room where you will most definitely relax as you will have woken early to go out and avoid the torrid heat of the day.
From 19.30 hours the streets start being busy as the sun goes down earlier at these times and it becomes cooler so the local people go out for a walk, do their shopping etc.
I have been as I said and when there are too many tourists it is unbearable, but when the summer months come, you can enjoy what Egypt has to offer if you plan well enough.

I would also say, that where you begging your holiday adventure is important.
Luxor is located in a better place than Cairo if you want to see all the most important places. From Luxor a cruise down the Nile in direction to Aswan and Abu Simbel are a must. From there, again you can take a plane to Karnak, see all there is to see, fly to Cairo, and tour that part of Egypt.
Alexandria is for those who want a European holiday…

Hi Gus, I am planning to go this June, but I am not good at the heat, I am from Florida, but I can not bear Florida heat, how bad is Egypt in June? Should I wait for the end of the year better? Thank you for your insights. I like your channel.

Beach = summer and during Ramadan as the hotels are empty
Tourist sites = Winter, more busy but the cooler weather makes up for it

Will visiting Luxor in Ramadan is a good idea? Is everything there open? Museums, temples, boats?

I am looking to go Hurghada Egypt in November with a group of us. Me and my partner really want to go do all the tourist sites but I know a few of the others are more beachy/lay by the pool all will the weather in November be good for both? I personally would hate doing tourist things is anything over 35 degrees celsius as ill melt! But am worried it wont be hot enough to chill out at beach & pool or will its still be?
