The reason we gain weight when quitting smoking. Smoking is responsible for the second highest death toll in the world, and While many smokers would like to quit smoking, they simply cannot. One of the main reason for that is that people who quit smoking rapidly gain weight.
In this video i describe how to microbiome is responsible for this effect.
This research was conducted by the lab of Prof. Eran Elinav from the Weizmann institute, Israel.
