Yeah chaperone definitely doesn’t gain extra range with a certain skin definitely not. 😂

This is hilarious and I agree for the most part but there are certain ornaments that like improve the scope, which technically could give u an advantage over the stock version. For example the desert camo for the mida gives u a red dot instead of the chevron reticle. The arbalist has a similar ornament that gives u a superior red dot over the stock scope. And then there was the new ornament for the crimson where ur red dot doesn’t disappear on the 3 round burst (big advantage, imo). I probably missed some others and maybe it’s not pay-to-win but like pay to have a better scope/slight advantage?

Except the bungie code is known to base bullets off the end of the barrel location on range, so there are versions of the Monte and Braytech rifles that extend the barrel and were shown to affect range stats.

There's ornaments for vigilance wing and the chaperone that actually makes a difference. The vigilance wing one gives a much cleaner sight and I think the chaperone one actually gave a slight bump to range.

If I could remember some ornaments increase the length or changes scope of the weapon. So it does have some gameplay value. Unless they changed it
