Basically the little girl is named sadako (I Learned this in 4th grade so if any of this is wrong then please tell me)but she got the atomic bomb disease well she was in a race and then ended up in the hospital
Where she met this girl who showed her how to make paper cranes then she told her about how making 1000 paper cranes can give you one wish and that one wish was to get healed from the sickness she had
And when she made her last paper crane she died in her bed

There’s a section for her at the Hiroshima Friendship museum the horror that the nuked created is like nothing you can fathom. She eventually started to lose feeling in her limbs as she got more sick the origami cranes became smaller and smaller they have her cranes in a glass casing and a wall telling her story from start to finish RIP to all those poor people.
