In this video, i will turn an old universal motor into an electric generator using two ferrite magnets fixed to the armature thus producing single phase AC 220V.

My first thought when I saw the title of this video was what, a brushless generator? I knew you could use a brushed motor like a generator by simply rotating the shaft and was puzzled as to how you would do this with no brushes until I saw you place the magnets on the rotor. It made sense then. My question now is in this configuration can you use this like a brushless DC motor, or would you need AC on the field windings for it to work?

Is there any idea could be used in this project ??? like, if we run armature with 12 vol by making less winding turns of 23 gauged wire. and magnate placed within empty space between outer big coils.

Do a experimentation. Use a coil like a generator and the other one like a moter . Put a diod in the out put of generator to redirect the corrent to mouter coil . Try to extract more energy on axle than was aplied !

Try couple the shaft of the universal mixer motor with the shaft of the universal washing machine motor and connect the washing machine motor to the mains and measure the voltage and short circuit current output of the mixer ac generator you built.
