Όπως υποστήριζαν τις τελευταίες ημέρες, δημοσιεύματα ξένων ειδησεογραφικών ιστοσελίδων, η Μόσχα απέστειλε 4 αεροσκάφη SU-34 στην αεροπορική της βάση Kmeimim στη Συρία, ώστε να ενισχύσει τη δύναμη πυρός της και να κάνει πιο αισθητή την παρουσία της στην περιοχή.
Ή τα SU-34 μεταφέρθηκαν στην Συρία, ώστε να πραγματοποιηθεί αντικατάσταση-εναλλαγή των ήδη υπαρχουσών εκεί ρωσικών στρατιωτικών δυνάμεων, το αποκαλούμενο rotation, είτε ότι αυτή ήταν η αντίδραση της Μόσχας προς την κίνηση του Τούρκου προέδρου Ταγίπ Ερντογάν, να αποστείλει μεγάλο αριθμό θωρακισμένων οχημάτων, τα οποία πλέον θα αναλάμβαναν να εξουδετερώσουν τα SU-34.

According to reports in recent days by foreign news websites, Moscow has sent four SU-34 aircraft to its Kmeimim air base in Syria to boost its firepower and make its presence felt in the region.
Or the SU-34s were transferred to Syria to replace existing Russian forces there, the so-called rotation, or that this was Moscow's reaction to the move of Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan to send a large number of armored vehicles, which would now undertake to neutralize the SU-34.
