Σύμφωνα με δημοσίευμα της Ισραηλινής ιστοσελίδας Israeldefense, η Ρωσία απέστειλε πριν λίγες ημέρες στη Συρία, το υπερσύγχρονο πολεμικό πλοίο "Dmitry Rogachev", το οποίο έχει την ιδιότητα να είναι αόρατο στα ραντάρ, δηλαδή είναι τύπου stealth.
Πιο συγκεκριμένα, η ιστοσελίδα αναφέρει ότι το πλοίο έχει ήδη αγκυροβολήσει στο Συριακό λιμάνι της πόλης Ταρτούς, και ότι αυτό επιβεβαιώθηκε από τη διοίκηση του Ρωσικού στόλου της Μαύρης Θάλασσας, η οποία ανέφερε επίσης ότι το πλοίο:
"θα εκτελέσει καθήκοντα εντός της μόνιμης επιχειρησιακής μονάδας του ρωσικού ναυτικού"
