The home automation circuit is built around an Arduino Uno board, Bluetooth module HC-05 and a 1-channel relay board. The number of channels depends on the number of appliances you wish to control. Arduino Uno is powered with a 12V DC adaptor/power source.

better to use 3-way switch so that you can turn on/off thru phone or switch. in that way, the logic will be like XOR.

your outcome is different to your circuit diagram, in your diagram the arduino is powered by the 220V AC but in your actual circuit it's powered by 9V DC. Is there any chance of getting the diagram with the physical switch and 9V DC adapter?
