Ok so my 01 e320 got "spooked" in a thunder/lightening storm and now my inner dome lights, front running board and tail lights will NOT turn off. I am having to unhook the battery after driving whenever I turn it off in order to save the battery. Tried the Brake Light Switch, ..but still having this issue. Dealership is quoting me $300 for a part. Other places pricing 20 o 30 for Relay Control mod. Need some advise.

So the wire was just ripped? I have this issue in my SL500 but I haven’t done the brake light switch, and my 3rd brake light does not work. The ASR and ABS light comes on and off every once in awhile.
