Nice suggestions Tom. I wish to add (may be I didn't hear you mentioned) - after sale services are equally important because my experience facing 2 of my drones crashed, then I got the place to return it for possible warranty claim. DJI has the largest network of drone resellers in my country Malaysia - I managed to claim warranty for crashed Mavic Air and Mavic 2 Zoom which I bought from authorized reseller. For me warranty is equally important. My faulty Osmo Pocket was also repaired by DJI for free.

I bought a Phantom 3 Standard second-hand (two months old and with only 2 flights on it) online for A$500 two years ago. It had a case, extra set of props and a set of ND filters included. Transaction was made person-to-person, so I could check out what I was getting before parting with the cash. I love it, and still fly it regularly - it has performed flawlessly. Only issue is its size - so I recently bought a Tello for the portability-factor, and am now saving for a Spark or a Mavic Pro.

I bought used phantom 4 this year, but i got to fly it before buying. I bought it for 50% of it's price when it was new. Now after 8 months it still flys nicely and no issues, great video for begginers!

Hi Tom, lost my mavic pro last year to a rogue wave in Queensland here in Australia, as I just lost the airframe I bought a replacement on Ebay. Well after changing all the settings and charging the battery I found the controller stick calibration was required at every boot up and the battery was "cell broken" oh well I bound in my original controller and now use two of my original batteries. Thinking of upgrading but it's not overly important as I have an i2 which is generally my go to airframe regards Tony Melbourne Australia

Tom, you may have covered it in another video, if you have please let me know, the question I have is about the fake batteries that are being sold for drones like the Phantom 4, I was surprised when I bought mine as a bundle deal on Amazon stating it came with two DJI Batteries, when it arrived it had one real Battery and one of the cheap knock off Battery. I I were ever to use the battery it would void the DJI warranty. Can you cover this in one of your videos. Thanks, Tim Mayberry

Even its release for more than a year, I think Mavic Air is still a very good PRICE/PERFORMANCE drone.
Especially for beginners that want to have a decent drone with high abilities and portability. Not a pro drone, but have the capability near to pro ones.

All videos upto now show footage taken with my Mavic Air and none of them are color graded.
Tip: Watch all of them in 1080p, because YouTube's compression makes them look bad.
