My 5 yr old son broke his arm at the elbow. They manipulated the arm to avoid surgery. He has use of that arm w/no problem but, the arm is bent weird at the elbow and really should have been surgically repaired. That was many yrs ago though. His cousins call him Popeye because of that arm.

Homie is a real one for holding his boys hand like he’s giving birth to their child 😂

Dislocated my elbow during football practice one time. I was rushed to the ER and they shot me up with ketamine before they put it back in. I was completely out of it, and had zero recollection of the reduction. From the looks of this, I’m glad they did.

I remember fractured and dislocated my elbow. It was one of the worse pain . Magically after correction most pain were gone right at the spot. Thank you to the doctors!

When I was a young child my elbows were constantly getting dislocated so off to the hospital we would go . One time the Dr showed my Dad how he was doing it but told him never to try .
After that my Dad just did it anyway
I outgrew them coming out .

I broke my wrist and my hand was parallel to my arm. The ER doctors were able to put it back and place, move the growth plate back in place and push a piece of bone that shot down to the middle of my forearm back up into place. All without surgery over an excruciating 10 min (I believe that's how long it took at least, felt like an eternity). Even with 4 shots, I felt everything and it didn't seem to help with the pain at all? I am so grateful how it turned out and that I didn't have plates or surgery. I played the violin every day once out of a cast and it was so painful and would lock up in place. I think if I didn't play I wouldn't have full movement. Miraculous recovery and forever grateful. Thank you to all doctors. ❤

I dislocated my elbow recently. I thanked the er Dr for helping me. He said I wouldn't be thanking him if I knew what he had to do to get it back in. Lol

The nurses laughed n said "you said ouch when he put it back" lol. I was sedated so I don't remember anything.

Now if I could get my arm straight ..

Done this in ER twice. Conscious Sedation with a lot of pain medication. Need to have the strength to do it too.

Try traction in elbow extension. Makes more sense than in flexion.

i broke and dislocated my humerus at the same time so they had me like drunk to pop it back in its place and then i had surgery to put 3 very large screws to like hold it in place. im now fine this was last summer and now the skin in the arm is just dry from having a cast all summer

My daughter jumped off her bed when she was 5 and my 16 yr old daughter tried to catch her. Grabbed her arm in the air. Nursemaid dislocation

My left elbow dislocated when I was 39. It stayed that way for about a minute, then an involuntary muscle spasm popped it back in place. It was so painful when it happened. The doctors said it was rare for that to happen.
It didn’t hurt when it dislocated, but hurt like hell when it popped back in place.

I dislocated my knee in October of last year. The most painful thing to ever happen to me. And I was in the worst spot, my leg was already bent a full 90 degree and I was sitting. It was horrible, I kept screaming in pain but I couldn’t help it. After I went to the emergency room and In bout 4 hours they popped it back in and I apologized for screaming at the paramedics and the doctors😂
