Interesting theory but i theorize that kinger used his 7 years of computer science to help develop video games for a company, and that tadc is a VR video game that kinger and his wife worked on and got stuck in

I feel like Jax bullied someone online until they ended themselves.

1) Nothing proves to me that Pomni took a life. To me her reactions in either scenario were self-explanatory: she ran away from Ragatha after trying to help her because of not just the fear of the abstraction but also the pain in her hand, which told her that staying to tug Ragatha out would lead to a worse outcome than running away. You're right that Pomni was being self-serving but it didn't necessarily look like she ran due to anything echoing a past life; if anything it seemed more like pure survival instinct. As for the second scenario, even if Gummigoo was an NPC, she freaked out when he was exploded because she made a connection with him and to her it was like a friend dying horrifically... except she seemed more in shock and despair than anything, not really reliving anything. Sure, all three can coexist but it didn't seem out of place that it'd be a first time. None of this disproves your theory of Pomni having previously taken a life, these events just don't prove it either.
2) ...How'd Kinger cause his wife to abstract? Yeah, there's the theory of how his cybercriminal hunting maybe got his human world partner somehow, but how would that lead to Queeny abstracting?? Was Queeny his partner in their original life and then she got retraumatized? It's not even certain how cybercriminal hunting, even if Kinger did get into that, got his wife got. We can speculate, but it feels like a stretch just to meet the parallel between Kinger and Mildenhall.

this does make sense because pomni when dragged down to hell frantically says “of course i’m in hell” and “he wants me to suffer” and it isn’t clear who “he” is. it could be caine or jax, but i think it’s someone outside the circus and she never speaks about it again cuz she only remembered for a few seconds. i also think all of them helped design this “game” because of how pomni immediately freaked out when she came to the circus, Kinger’s comment about seven years of computer science, and pomni’s reaction to the computers in episode one

I find it pretty much logic to think that the adventures are recreations of the characters' trauma, since Gooseworx confirmed that she wrote this story inspired by I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream. In that story, the main antagonist, AM, tortures his victims exposing them to twisted virtual worlds created by him where they endure a never ending regurgitation of their traumas.

3:17 Actually, she does try to help, that's why her arm gets corrupted (temporarily). What was she supposed to do there?

I do think it is therapy but I don't think all murdered someone. I also think you took the kinger parallel the wrong way. I think the angel monster parallel is caine with kinger "bringing it home" when kinger and queenie ended up in the circus. I think kinger was too focused on trying to get out and have him and his wife leave that he ignored his wife causing her to eventually abstract. Kinger probably had a major part making the circus and probably was one of the first ones in, him trying to get everyone out rather than making sure everyone was alright was the carelessness that caused him to inadvertently end his wife like the hunter. Probably gave himself amnesia to hide the trauma but also went insane and on the verge of abstracting. I think he didn't because him helping make it has too much important info to take him out of the game. There was a movie named "the cube" where a bunch of people woke up in this weird space where every side had a door and you find out that each room was apart of a giant cube. One of the people in there was one of the designers and he was important for understanding how the cube works. What if caine is purposely keeping kinger around because the other players need him?

honestly cant wait for tadc to get darker and more in depth

Also, another thing that comes to my mind is how overlooked is the behavior of Jax in ep2. Of course, the chapter is mostly emphasized in Pomni and Gummygoo, but alongside, we got Jax blackmailing Gangle into crashing the truck to put pressure to their rivals (and also to torture Gangle). Then, we got that scene where Jax flatters the fudge monster to save himself from being eaten and getting lost in a river.

These are good examples of Jax's behavior that people are not talking about because they are much more focused on the unsettling feelings Jax experiments when he doesn't get what he wants.

wow! I really like the idea that the adventure that the crew goes on relates to someone’s experience in real life. I can’t wait to see what Jax’s adventure is in episode 6 and see if it might work as well

(Edit) The abstraction thing is so smart as well! I haven’t thought that it could be like a game. Zooble might be able to abstract next because of that. But if you remember at the beginning of the video - Caine was mad because he made the adventure mature enough or maybe for her. So maybe that is supposed to be Zoobles story.

I don't think this theory makes very much sense. The characters had been going on adventures long before Pomni showed up, and it is clarified in the beginning of episode 3 that Pomni had still only been there for a couple days. Why would the characters all go on presumably hundreds of adventures in their time there, but the second Pomni shows up now they're adventures relevant to their real lives. This would hold a lot more water if they were all sucked into the circus at the same time but we know that's not true.

Also Caine explicitly states that the episode 3 adventure was made specifically for Zooble. He was shocked when she said she didn't care about the adventure, and I highly doubt he was playing 4D chess and could have predicted Kinger and Pomni would accidentally go down the "scary path for mature Zoobles".

This is a cool theory. But Caine does not have control of the humans’ minds, so it’s unlikely that he made the adventures to reflect the humans’ past lives.

15:31 That's just a theory, a game/film theory

Yeaaaah, not my take on the situation. There's also a bit of a hole in you theory about Episode 3 being aimed at Kinger since Caine makes it clear he'd tooled the adventure just for Zooble's tastes, implying it was really meant to be THEIR adventure, not Kinger's. Here's what I'm thinking on the situation as a whole:

TADC, in continuity, is meant to be an A.I. generated, interactive (in a very weird way) children's show. You could say "it's a game, " in the sense that it's meant to be interactive at some point, but it's primarily framed as a "family-friendly show." Hence the restrictions on language. It also seems to intentionally restrict critical information about the cast, such as their names, for reasons I'll get into later. Caine is the interactive avatar of the algorithms assembling the show's episodes from its available resources, that are mostly drawn from 90's era cartoons or inspired by other children's shows of the era, like Pee Wee's Playhouse, likely due to the familiarity of the programmers. The program is still in development rather than use and is currently undergoing testing to see how it operates and to build up a large database of scenarios to draw from. However, this can't realistically be done in a vacuum; it needs human input and feedback to determine its performance and it hasn't reached the point of being viable for testing with child audiences yet due to concerns with its content... see also Bubble (likely intended to be a joke character for older relatives watching the show with the kids) and other aspects of the show that would be problematic or traumatizing, such as the Angel in episode 3. It's still getting the kinks worked out. However, in order to go through proper testing, it needs an audience. That's the cast. They're the audience. And they aren't exactly "trapped" in the Circus. Not in the way that seems obvious, anyway. They can't leave, per se, but they're not exactly "trapped." But I'll get to that.

I think all of them are actually employees (sort of) of the company developing the program. Kinger was likely a programmer on it, possibly the main one. Jax is most likely someone reasonably high-up in the company's hierarchy but not directly involved with the program itself, and possibly there due to family connections since he seems fairly young. Ragatha was likely also on the project, or possibly HR. The rest are likely interns or digital artists that don't really know precisely what they're working on, or otherwise employed elsewhere in the company and were unaware of the project. This is just the ones we know of, mind, since it's clear there were plenty of other cast members before Pomni's arrival. These are all people asked to help with the testing, likely without explaining the project beforehand in some cases. Some, like Jax, seem to be aware of what it is (which impacts his behavior, such as his 4th Wall breaks). Likewise, this is part of why Kinger hasn't abstracted. He's acutely aware of what's going on but can't actually do anything about it and is just doing his best. In particular, the fact that he and his wife had matching avatars and names appropriate for those avatars suggests they had direct control over both instead of relying on some kind of spontaneously generated character model and a name randomizer the way Gangle, Zooble, and Pomni seem to have been. He's likely there both willingly and knowingly. Jax may be as well, since his name is much shorter than the others and, as mentioned, he acts as if he's being actively observed. Not to mention as if nothing bad's really going to happen to him, showing no real concern when faced with dangerous situations. All of these people were likely brought in to test the program, providing data for it via human interactions... Sort of.

So now it's time to explain the "sort of." It's stupidly impractical for a company to put their employees through what's basically a full-immersion VR testing procedure that's going to lock them up for seemingly years, to say the least, especially since some of them seem to be unaware of what they were getting into. However, if they have the technology to produce an A.I. like Caine, they likely have the technology required to create an A.I. duplicate of a person through a brain scan... the "weird headset" Pomni described. She put on the headset and suddenly she was in TADC. It isn't that her mind or soul or anything has been sucked into the digital world... it's that "Pomni" has NEVER EXISTED AT ALL. She's an A.I. made to mimic a real person's brain functions and memories, produced by copying someone's brainwave patterns. The program that does this seems to remove personal identifiers intentionally, likely to prevent real names and personal information from being recorded and exposed through the program should it reach market or otherwise become public. It's a way of securing the privacy of the donors... which is particularly important since it seems like they're at a stress testing stage. Instead of having a typical "audience, " most, if not all, of the current cast appear to be neurodivergent, suggesting they're trying to see how the program will handle atypical interactions. Gangle appears to be bipolar, Jax psychopathic, Kinger somewhere on the spectrum (and potentially suffering from dementia or Alzheimer's), Pomni appears to be suffering from anxiety, Ragatha depression, and Zooble some form of dysmorphia. The program has made digital copies of these individuals' personalities and is running them through its scenarios in an attempt to adjust its product, which is why it's so concerned with making sure the cast participates and provides feedback but doesn't really care about their condition. Caine can simply fix damage to them, even glitching, because they're not actually PEOPLE, just more bits of code in the larger program. This is also why Gummigoo had to be removed; as the cast are also A.I.s, Caine can't differentiate between THEM and its other products. They're ALSO its products, just ones modeled on real people. People who were likely asked to provide a "sample" precisely BECAUSE of their conditions. Those people are actually just fine in the real world while copies of themselves are put through the wringer.

This also explains why Caine is saving the abstracted "PCs." There's no merit in preserving "losers." Those people would just be ejected from the game. Instead, they're being kept. This is because the abstractions represent valuable data for the program. They form when one of its "PC" A.I.s has a mental breakdown under the stress and can't effectively emulate how a person would behave. The cast don't seem to have significant control over their shapes, but the abstractions undergo extreme changes, suggesting that the data has become corrupted and is no longer executing or displaying properly. All of this is valuable for the program to study as it seeks to improve its output and adjust it to different potential audiences.

This means that it's NOT ACTUALLY POSSIBLE for anyone to leave TADC. Their real selves are already very much alive and well on the outside, likely unaware of what their copies are going through. There seems to be some pretty strong foreshadowing in each episode pointing in this direction; the Exit was Caine attempting to match the interests of the cast but had no way of providing what they actually wanted, so he simply constructed a labyrinth meant to deter them. The Void beyond is just unallocated resources, but it's not something that the cast can interact with, only Caine, so drifting off into it is essentially a death sentence if he doesn't grab them, and also makes it clear they can't actually leave... and may actually contain records of past and future adventures besides, if one goes out far enough, since it was mentioned he sometimes reuses resources. Gummigoo's entire plot is likely foreshadowing of Pomni's arc as she's forced to recognize she's also an A.I. and that the Circus is all there is for her... the place I think Kinger is at, mentally.

7:40 It's an unfinished thought while I'm watching the video, but at the word about monsters, I was reminded that Kinger said that his wife got him involved in entomology - the science of bugs, which he used to hate. And there are bugs in programming too, only as code errors instead of insects. So maybe before that his job was to fix various bugs in digital circus
Idk how to bring this thought to a conclusion and maybe I'm looking for meaning where there is none😅

I also think it's interesting that we weren't shown what happens to Jax when he holds his breath. I thought there would be a joke that would reveal that he has some sort of embarrassing/funny reaction to it but in the end no, we never got to see it. Maybe it'll be some sort of Chekhov's gun?

I think if they kill Caine by making him reset, then they'll get booted out.

can some body talk about how kinger said "7 years of computer programming for this"

I like the theory. I do think that Jax does feel bad for the person that he killed because in the first episode when he tells pomin that kinger is crazy at the end he pauses. I think that he did so many pranks on one person that they went crazy and unalived them self. I think that he does feel bad but he hide it
